CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT TESTS DUE – GUIDELINES

To Metropolitan International University Fraternity
From
Academic Registrar

This serves to inform all members of the MIU fraternity that Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs) begin this week as per the approved academic calendar.

Note should be taken that CATs constitute 30% of the final mark in a given course unit and should therefore be accorded seriousness deserved. Adequate preparations should be done.

The following should also be noted:

  • CATs contribute to the Certificate of due performance in addition to other factors like class attendance; and thus failure to undertake them disqualifies one from sitting final examinations.
  • Only duly registered students (with registration cards for the current semester) will be allowed to partake. All students are advised to carry current registration cards as they will not be allowed to sit for the papers.
  • All examination rules and regulations with corresponding penalties as indicated in the joining instructions book will apply to the tests.
  • Papers will be scheduled as the Teaching timetable in force.
