With over 10 years of expertise in Diagnostic Medicine, Mr. Twinamatsiko Crinad is a highly accomplished professional who has significantly impacted healthcare, research, and education. He has dedicated 10 years to teaching microbiology, shaping the next generation of health professionals with his comprehensive knowledge of microbial science. Complementing his academic career, he has 10 years of hospital experience, providing critical support in the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases.

Mr. Twinamatsiko has a robust clinical background, having served for 7 years in the laboratory at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, where he worked extensively in the TB/HIV Clinic and contributed to groundbreaking research under the Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration (IDRC). His contributions have been pivotal in advancing care for TB and HIV patients, as well as improving diagnostic protocols for infectious diseases.

In addition to his clinical and research accomplishments, Mr. Twinamatsiko has held prominent leadership positions. For 10 years, he served as the Senior Examination Officer at the Uganda Allied Health Examination Board (UAHEB), ensuring the quality and credibility of allied health education assessments. As the Acting Principal Tutor at Kampala Paramedix Institute, he played a key role in shaping the institution’s academic and administrative framework.

Currently, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Metropolitan International University-Mbarara campus, where he oversees the development of innovative programs, fosters academic excellence, and inspires future healthcare leaders.

A passionate advocate for healthcare and education, Mr. Twinamatsiko specializes in infectious disease diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance, laboratory best practices, and academic leadership.

 His ability to bridge theoretical knowledge and practical application makes him a respected authority in his field.
