Earlier today, Metropolitan International University (MIU) was honored to host a delegation from the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) Uganda for an inspection of the School of Engineering.
The inspection formed part of NCHE’s mandate to ensure that all higher education institutions in Uganda adhere to national standards of quality, relevance, and compliance. During the visit, the NCHE team toured the School of Engineering facilities, reviewed academic programs, and engaged with faculty members on matters relating to curriculum design, student training, and research capacity.
At MIU, quality assurance is at the heart of our mission. The visit provided an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to:
-
Excellence in teaching and learning through updated curricula and skilled lecturers.
-
Hands-on training and innovation supported by modern laboratories and engineering resources.
-
Student-centered education that prepares graduates to solve real-world challenges in Uganda and beyond.
The University leadership expressed gratitude to NCHE for their guidance and reaffirmed MIU’s pledge to continue investing in world-class facilities, academic staff development, and industry-driven programs.
This milestone marks yet another step forward in MIU’s journey to nurture a generation of engineers and innovators who will contribute significantly to national development.
